All our day trips start in the morning (we recommend 8.30 a.m.) and need to be booked a few days in advance.

We do not advise vulnerable people to come on our day trips.

On all of our day trips we recommend bringing water, sunglasses, summer shoes, a jacket for the wind and a bite to eat. Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes without holes. We do not recommend wearing contact lenses.

Our day trips to Mount Etna are in mixed groups (max. 10–15 people). Our day trips to towns are private. Don't hesitate to contact us for more details.

8,000 feet above sea level

Climb 8,000 feet above sea level and enjoy a breath-taking view!

Our starting point is the southern slopes of Etna, where you can take a cable car up to 8,000 feet above sea level, then carry on by yourself on foot, following the marked paths.

You can immerse yourself in the wildness of Etna, walking on rock formed from lava and through lush greenery. The walk takes two hours in total.

9,500 feet above sea level

Push yourself to the peak of Mount Etna with this fantastic trip. Climb 9,500 feet above sea level, the furthest it's possible to go currently, by taking a cable car then carrying on in a 4x4 bus service.

Accompanied by a mountain guide, you can then walk over the Silvestri Craters, see historic sights like the Torre del Filosofo, whose story will astonish you, and walk on ancient and recent footpaths formed from lava. The walk takes about two hours in total.

Quad bike trip

For a dynamic, really exciting trip, choose our quad bike service! The route is about 15 miles long and takes you past sites of historic eruptions, caves formed from lava and many old buildings destroyed by the volcano. This unique experience will let you truly explore the southern slopes of Mount Etna.

You will need Italian driving licence type B or foreign equivalent. Up to two people can go on each quad bike. Helmet and insurance included in price.

Wine Tasting

On the slopes of Mount Etna, resting on the lava rock, are wineries renowned for their delicious, full-bodied wines. Discover the beautiful marriage of "slow food" and different great wines – and choose your favourite! Tasting options include an aperitif with three wines and a full-on lunch with five wines to bring out all the flavours.
